This information will be used to determine eligibility and distribute disaster assistance payments to eligible producers of soybeans, upland cotton, long grain rice, medium and short grain rice, and sweet potatoes located in counties with a primary Secretarials disaster designation due to extensive moisture or related conditions in 2009.
Farm Service Agency (FSA) will provide CAP assistance to eligible agricultural producers who have eligible crop acreage located in a primary disaster county as designated by the Secretary as a result of excessive moisture or related condition. The sign-up period for CAP payments is October 18, 2010, through December 1, 2010.
