The Census Bureau plans to conduct additional survey work under the generic clearance for Data User Evaluation Surveys (OMB number 0607-0760).
The Census Bureau’s American Community Survey Office (ACSO) is planning a survey to elicit feedback from participants at a workshop for federal agency users of ACS data that will be held on July 18, 2011. The feedback from this survey will help the Census Bureau determine how effective the workshop was for the users, and allow ACSO to modify future workshops to maximize the benefit participants receive.
At the conclusion of the July 18 workshop, we will give all the workshop participants a comment card and ask them to complete it. We anticipate anywhere between 50 to 80 participants at the workshop.
ACSO staff have reviewed and internally tested the questionnaire for ease of use and content appropriateness. We estimate respondent burden at 5 minutes per questionnaire for a total respondent burden of 7 hours.
We plan to maximize response rates by making a personal appeal during the concluding remarks of the workshop.
