As a condition of this approval, DOJ and NDIC agree to characterize in any publications or public statements answers to questions based on the respondents' perception as perception-based. Questions 8 and 9 will not be included in statistical analyses, consistent with previous terms of clearance.
Prior to the next submission of this collection for OMB approval, NDIC needs to:
1) Address the issues noted in the Survey Question Testing Report, which is attached as a supplementary document, about category definitions for ÂlowÂ, ÂmoderateÂ, and Âhigh being relative to each jurisdiction, and monitor the utility of the newly added drugged driving questions.
2) Demonstrate in the supporting statements how the survey yields quality and reliable information.
3) Update the sample frame.
Finally, DOJ should ensure that it submits collection packages that it wishes to extend to OMB before they expire.
