Abstract: This data collection requires the submission and preparation of logbooks and reports on the Pacific Coast Groundfish fishery from processing vessels larger than 125 feet in length and from catcher vessels that deliver to them. The information is necessary to monitor catch, effort, and production for fishery management purposes. This request is to make minor changes to the declaration reports under OMB Control No. 0648-0271. The requested change will remove the requirements for the following forms: „X Daily fishing and cumulative production logbook (for catcher vessels and catcher-processors). „X Daily report of fish received and cumulative production logbook (motherships) „X Weekly production report (catcher-processors and motherships only) „X Product transfer/offloading logbook These forms are no longer needed because under the Trawl Rationalization program (the information collection titled ¡§Northwest Region Groundfish Trawl Fishery Monitoring and Catch Accounting Program¡¨, pending OMB approval), the information previously reported on these forms will now be required to be reported electronically.
