This information collection covers the
collection of information from Gas pipeline operators for Incidents
and Annual reports. This request is being submitted to OMB to
revise the burden hours and form for the Gas Distribution Annual
Report and add a new form for Mechanical Fitting Failures along
with the resulting burden hours. The intial 60 day notice for these
actions were addressed in the final rule for the Integrity
Management Program for Gas Distribution Pipelines (RIN:2137-AE15).
The final rule that incorporates these actions into the regulations
is a rulemaking entitled Mechanical Fitting Rule (RIN 2137-AE60).
This request also includes the revisions tied to the One Rule under
the OMB Preapproval.

A. Revising Gas Distribution

Result: Additional 5,760 hours (Annual Basis). B. New Mechanical
Failure Report that was taken out of the proposed revision to the
Gas Distribution Annual Report based on comments received.
(Mechanical Fitting Rule (DIMP 2)) Result: Additional 18,000
Responses and 18,000 burden hours (Annual Basis).
