The Commodity Exchange Act, as amended to the Dodd-Frank Act, requires Swaap dealers (SDs) and major swap paraticipants (MSPs) to establish certain reporting, recordkeeping, and daily trading records requirements. The proposed regulations would require SDs and MSPs to maintain transaction and position records of their swaps (incuding daily trading records of swaps and related cash and forward transactions), to maintain specified business records, and to satisfy reporting requirements.
