The Commodity Exchange Act, as amended by the Dodd-Frank Act requires the Commission to prescribe documentation standards for swap dealers and major swap participant. The proposed regulation would require swap dealers and major swap participants to include in their trading relationship documentation an agreement about events that will transpire if the FDIC is appointed as a receiver under Title II of the Dodd-Frank Act or the Federal Deposit insurance Act.
There is no decrease or increase in burnden, this is a new proposal.
