Abstract: The Manufactured Housing Installation Program establishes regulations for the administration of an installation program and establishes a new manufactured housing installation program for States that choose not to implement their own programs. HUD uses the information collected for the enforcement of the Model Installation Standards in each State that does not have an installation program established by State law to ensure that the minimum criteria of an installation program are met.
