Abstract: The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act ("Dodd-Frank Act")established a comprehensive new statutory framework for swaps by amending the Commodity Exchange Act. Pursuant to this rulemaking, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") makes changes to the CFTC's regulations to integrate them with the new statutory framework.
