Phase 1 finalists continuing with Phase 2 are expected to attend (or for a team, send representatives to attend) a workshop in Durham, NC on December 6th, 2012. The workshop is intended to provide resources and information to support you in developing your sensor systems beyond the end of the challenge, as well as to support the development of Phase 2 projects. Up to $1000 in travel expenses will be covered for each finalist team.

  1. Are challenge sponsors providing sufficient resources and information to make it easy for you to attend the workshop? If not, what additional resources or information would be helpful? (Y / N->Free text)

  2. At the workshop, we are planning to include a session in which finalists will present their projects and receive feedback. In order for us to make this session most useful to you, we are asking for input on content. What information about your proposal would you be willing to share with the judging panel and fellow finalists at the workshop? What information would you be interested in hearing about your fellow finalists’ projects? Is there any information that you would prefer not to share?(Free text)

  3. At the workshop, the challenge sponsors plan to offer presentations and panels on a number of topics related to developing sensor systems and bringing them to market.
