The combined slaughter total helps the livestock industry measure production against projected supplies and helps monitor consumption trends. Response to this survey is voluntary and not required by law, but your help is needed to ensure accurate estimates. Reports for individual plants are kept confidential and are combined with Federally-inspected totals. Please return this form as soon as possible. If no custom slaughter was conducted, enter "none" and return this form. Thank you for your help.

• Exclude livestock slaughter covered by the Federal Meat Inspection Program and livestock carcasses which were totally condemned.
