enables the Food Safety and Inspection Service to fulfill its
responsibilities mandated by the Federal Meat Inspection Act.
Estimates are used by Government, industry, and the private sector
in production and marketing decisions, and for economic analysis
and research.

The primary reason for an
increase in burden is the change in the population size of the
Federally inspected and the Non-Federally inspected slaughter
plants.
