This collection of information is voluntary and will be used to solicit feedback from users of the existing Visual Impact Assessment for Highway Projects, and to obtain suggestions on ways to improve the guidance to obtain more widespread implementation. Public reporting burden is estimated to average 30 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. Please note that an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. Visual Impact Assessment Customer Satisfaction Survey


The FHWA plans to update its guidance document Visual Impact Assessment for Highway Projects. As part of this effort it is necessary to solicit feedback from users of the existing document to learn whether state DOTs use the guidance and to obtain suggestions on ways to improve the guidance to obtain more widespread implementation.
