Dear Health Official:
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have developed a data collection to assess the current capacity of state and local health departments (LHDs) to provide STD prevention, testing, and treatment services. This information is important to determine what STD services are currently offered and how they have recently changed. We hope to learn about how broadly billing has been implemented in health departments and about how budget and staffing changes have impacted the services you offer.
To take the data collection, please click the link below. It should take about 20 minutes to complete. From the first page of the data collection, you can access a printable copy of the data collection questions. Some questions ask for staff and budget levels and recent changes. Reviewing these questions before responding may help you complete the data collection.
