Dear Colleague,
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service is conducting a
survey of stakeholders in four river basins (Hudson, Delaware, Potomac and Susquehanna) in the MidAtlantic to learn more about the use of water resources information for decision making and identify
opportunities for filling information gaps with new products and services. You have been selected for this
survey because of your interest and participation in water resources decision making in the [RIVER
BASIN].
Please participate in this 45 minute survey to share your views about your water resources priorities,
information needs, and the value of filling those information needs. Please complete this survey by

The feedback gathered through this survey will be used to identify new products and services that will
guide planning activities in support of a proposed demonstration of new Integrated Water Resources
Science and Services (IWRSS) capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. IWRSS is supported by a
consortium of federal agencies with complementary missions in water science, observation, management
and prediction: The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
