The goal of this proposed data collection effort is to determine how Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs are being implemented in order to provide services for tribal members. The specific goals of the study are to 1) provide an in-depth, systematic description of program implementation, operations, outputs, and outcomes in selected sites, 2) identify promising practices, and 3) identify other areas for further study.
