The total burden under this generic clearance is 12,900. • The ongoing NCVS-RR accounts for approximately 11,100 burden hours. Although these projects have been approved by OMB and are in the field test stage, data collection will continue beyond June 30, 2012. • The estimated respondent burden for anticipated NCVS-RR projects is 1,800 person-hours. The largest annual burden falls in the first year with an estimated 960 person hours. We estimate that cognitive interviews and pretesting instruments will take an average of 1 hour.
