Title 23 of the US Code established a
federal alcohol grant program designed to encourage States to enact
strong, effective anti-drunk driving legislation and improve the
enforcement of these laws.
There is a change resulting in
an adjustment in the number of respondents from year to year and
shift in the type of qualification. In recent years, more States
have qualified as low fatality rate, thus decreasing the annual
information collection burden hours from 1350 to 1261.
