As part of its service to agriculture and to the general public, the Department of Agriculture collects and publishes information on coffee production and prices received by farmers for coffee. Your response to this survey is voluntary and not required by law. However, your cooperation is needed to help us accurately estimate for this important sector of Hawaii’s agriculture. Federal laws ensure that your individual information will remain strictly confidential. Please complete and return this questionnaire by the indicated due date, in the envelope provided, which requires no postage. Someone from our office may be in contact with you. PART I: COFFEE PURCHASES


Report only the amounts purchased from growers, do not include cherry, parchment, or green coffee bought from othe millers. In reporting the total amount paid to growers, only the charges for hauling, processing, and selling should be deducted. Other charges, such as cost of sacks, fertilizer, etc., should not be deducted.
