This information is used by the
Commission to set the appropriate fee rate payable by Tribes
conducting gaming under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and to
compute the actual fees payable by particular tribal gaming
operations. In addition, the amended rule includes a process for
submission of fingerprint cards and fees to the NIGC for
processing.

With regard to the quarterly
fee statements, the change is based on a decrease in the number of
respondents. With regard to the fingerprint cards, the fingerprint
card and fee submission is a new information collection based on
agency discretion.
