Highlights: Apples in cold storage reported by cold storage warehouses for Pennsylvania totaled 5,040,000 bushels on December 31, 2012, compared to 3,720,000 bushels on December 31, 2011. The 3 largest varieties in storage on December 31, 2012 were: Golden Delicious, 1,810,000 bushels; York, 897,500 bushels; and Rome, at 698,500

bushels.

Total apple stocks in Pennsylvania totaled 211,680,000 pounds on December 31, 2012, compared to 156,240,000 pounds on December 31, 2011.
