Abstract: The National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) Summer Genetics Institute (SGI) is a summer training program for nursing scientists. The SGI is designed to increase the genetics research capability among graduate students and faculty, and develop and expand the basis for clinical practice in genetics among clinicians.
