Student Tracker Logon Section
CHANGE - NAME – Student Tracker Login – Student and Performance Measures Tracking System
NO CHANGE - UserId / Password: These fields are required for the user to login to the system. The user is associated with students for whom they are responsible for editing and providing new information. Each user is given an id and password by the Office of Education.
Password Change Section
NO CHANGE - UserId / Old Password / New Password / Confirm Password: These fields are optionally used as needed by the user to change their password.
Edit Screen
This page provides options for user to search for and click on a particular student to edit.
CHANGE
- The “Edit Students” name has changed to “Students
Search.”
The search capability has a new engine (see
below).
General Section
This section allows a user to enter a new student into the system or edit general information about the student. The following fields are included in this section:
NO CHANGE – First Name
NO CHANGE – Last Name
NO CHANGE - Middle Initial
NO CHANGE - Suffix
CHANGE – NEW – State: This is a mandatory field that has a drop down menu.
CHANGE – NEW – Zip Code: This is a mandatory field that has a drop down menu.
CHANGE - NEW – Street Name: This is a mandatory field that menu that has a drop down menu.
CHANGE – NEW - Street Suffix: This is a mandatory field that has a drop down menu.
CHANGE – NEW - Address Number: This is a mandatory field that has a drop down menu.
CHANGE – NEW – Citizenship: Added a radio button to select US Citizen or NOT US Citizen (mandatory data field).
CHANGE – NEW – Citizenship Verification: Added radio buttons to select among three verification methods (e.g., USA Birth Certificate, Valid USA Passport, and, Valid USA Naturalization Certificate of Citizenship).
CHANGE – Race / Ethnicity: Added a radio button* for Other
CHANGE – Gender: Added a radio button for None and Other
*A radio button is a user interface control on a web form which allows the user to choose from a list of choices which are all shown on the screen. Only one item can be selected at a time (indicated by a filled in circle beside the item).
Academic Section
This section provides options for the user to edit, delete, or add student degree information. The following fields are included in this section:
CHANGE – NEW – Program: Added a mandatory field where the user selects from the drop down menu the program name.
CHANGE – Academic Partner Institution: Changed name to Academic Partner Institution from Academic Institution.
CHANGE – Level of Education: This mandatory field name changed from “Level of Education” to “Classification.”
CHANGE – NEW- Funding Start Date: This is a mandatory data field that requires the user to enter or select a date (e.g. mm/yyyy).

CHANGE – GPA: Added a mandatory data field for grade point average.

Student Tracker Web Form: Funding Section
This section provides options for the user to edit, delete, or add student funding information. The following fields are included in this section:
NO CHANGE – Degree
CHANGE – NEW – Funding Type: Added a mandatory field to selecting funding type from a drop down menu.
NO CHANGE – Source of Funding
CHANGE – NEW - GPA: Added a mandatory data field for grade point average.
NO CHANGE – Fiscal Year of Award
CHANGE – Type of Award: The name of the field changed from Type of Award to Award Type.
NO CHANGE – Report Period
CHANGE – Funding Amount: The name of the information collected is changed from ‘‘Funding Amount’ to “Amount $.”
CHANGE – NEW - Citation Title: Added a data field for the citation title.
Summer Assignment Section
(This section may be combined with the Training Section and eliminated in the future.)
This section provides options for the user to edit, delete, or add student summer assignment information. The following fields are included in this section:
CHANGE – NEW – Program: Added a mandatory field where the user selects from the drop down menu the program name.

CHANGE - Year of Participation: The name of the data field is changed from “Year of Participation” to “Year.”

Training Section
This section provides options for the user to edit, delete, or add student training activities. The following fields are included in this section:
CHANGE – NEW – Program: Added a mandatory field where the user selects from the drop down menu the program name.
NO CHANGE – Training Category
NO CHANGE – Training Activity
CHANGE – Activity Year: The name of the data field changed from “Activity Year” to “Year.”
CHANGE - Role: The data field was deleted.
CHANGE - NEW – Comments: Added data field to allow the user to add comments.
Post Graduation Section
This section allows a user to edit post graduation information about the student. The following fields are included in this section:
CHANGE – Changed the name from “Post Graduation” to Post Education.”
CHANGE – NEW – Program: Added a mandatory field where the user selects from the drop down menu the program name.
CHANGE – Sector: The name of the information collected is changed from ‘Sector’ to ‘Industry Sector’
CHANGE – Name of Organization: The name of the information collected is changed from ‘Post Graduation Information – ‘Name of Organization’ to “Organization.”
CHANGE – NEW – Occupation: Added a mandatory data field “Occupation.” The user may select: Professional, Professional/Student, or Student from the drop down menu.
CHANGE – Position: The name of the information collected is changed from “Position” to ‘Job Title.’
