T ITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Office of Global Research (OGR) Georgia and MENA Workshops

PURPOSE:

The Office of Global Research (OGR) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) sponsors workshops around the world, and will be sponsoring two workshops, one in Qatar in May 2014 and one in Tbilisi, Georgia in June 2014. NIAID is interested in knowing the participant’s overall satisfaction with what they learned at the workshop as well as if they were able to meet potential collaborators. This survey is part of a customer satisfaction assessment to examine the NIAID’s workshop implementation and grantees’ perceptions to date. The information collected will enable the Office of Global Research to improve future workshops and encourage collaboration.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:

Potential survey respondents are the participants of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the US-Georgia Program-Development Workshops, including both American scientists and scientists from the regions. We are expecting about 90 non-FTE attendees in Qatar and about 110 non-FTE attendees in Georgia.
