OMB will strive to provide feedback on the individual cognitive research plans within ten working days of the submission, whenever possible.

The Financial Reporting System, Form EIA-28, will be used for research purposes; there is no intent to use the recleared form to collect data. The research supported by the reclearance will be used to design a petroleum operating cost survey to supplant the recleared survey.

This clearance requests approval to collect data about the existing EIA-28 in order to inform a future redesign of the Form EIA-28.
