Section 104(b) of the Consumer Product
Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires the CPSC promulgate
consumer product safety standards for durable infant or toddler
products. The Commission is issuing a safety standard for infant
walkers that contains requirements for marking and instructional
literature that are collections of information under the
PRA.
The change in time burden is
due to an increase in the number of firms supplying infant walkers.
The decrease in cost burden is due to a change in accounting for
cost burden on respondents.
