of obtaining multifamily mortgage insurance for new or
rehabilitated housing. The information collected is used to
determine if key principals are acceptable and have the ability to
manage the development, construction, completion, and successful
lease-up of the proposed property.

processing.
The increase in burden hours is
contributed to the booming business handled by HUD Multifamily
Housing in the last few years due to the financial crisis, The
financial institutions were no longer making funding available. HUD
Multifamily Housing has done a record number of loans in the past
few years. The economy downsize was the reason why Multifamily
Housing did so well in its growth of loans throughout the
country.
