This study will provide national data
on how museums and libraries are used, the level of public
satisfaction, and needs for the future. It will provide data to
help libraries and museums make decisions about their programs and
services and to provide a basis on which IMLS can develop national
policies and guidance to museums and libraries. It is a
household-level survey of non-institutionalized adults living in
the United States.
