OPM reported a burden estimate of 2,613,573 hours in 2009. We are increasing that burden estimate by 7.715,026 hours. The change is due to the substantial increase in the number of respondents completing the OPM Form 1203-FX. Since 2009, there have been significant increases in the number of Federal agencies utilizing the OPM Form 1203FX and a substantial increase interest in Federal employment which has led to tremendous increase in the number of applicants.
