Operations Order Overview



































As part of the FY 2013 OPSG application process, each eligible local unit of government or federally-recognized tribal government must develop their Operations Order in coordination with State and Federal law enforcement agencies to include, but not limited to CBP/BP. Operations Orders that are developed at the county level should be inclusive of city, county, tribal, and other local law enforcement agencies that are eligible to participate in OPSG operational activities, and the Operations Orders should address this in the Executive Summary. Eligible applicants must ensure that the Operations Order is consistent with all applicable requirements outlined in Appendix E ("FY 2013 OPSG Operations Order Template and Instructions") of the FY 2013 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).

As part of the FY 2013 OPSG Grant Program, SAAs are required to provide an inventory of the Operations Orders that they receive from counties and Federally-recognized tribal governments. The following fields will need to be completed by the SAA in the Inventory of Operations Orders for the FY 2013 OPSG application process:

• Applicant Type (County or Tribal)
• Total FY 2013 Federal Funding Request
