The regulations set forth in 22 CFR
Part 62 implement the Department of State's Exchange Visitor
Program, including the use of SEVIS (Subpart F) to facilitate
timely reporting and monitoring of international students and
exchange visitors (EVs) in the US. SEVIS is an Internet-based
application for electronically tracking and reporting on EVs, and
enables schools and program sponsors to transmit information
electronically to the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement
and the Department of State. Additional non-electronic requirements
under 22 CFR Part 62 are also covered in this submission.
