Dear Indiana Racing Participant,

You will soon be receiving a survey on the Indiana Racing and Breeding Industry. The survey is being conducted by Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and Purdue University Calumet School of Management. The purpose of the survey is to determine the economic impact of the racing and breeding industry and related businesses to the State of Indiana. When you receive this survey, please take a few moments to complete and return it. Your answers will help guide the policies, fiscal appropriations and decisions that shape this industry.

In addition, this survey will be the first step in an overall equine survey to be completed over the next two years. You will receive a second survey in the early months of 2011. Your efforts to complete and return both surveys are appreciate.
