The Office of Indian Education (OIE) of the Department of Education (ED) requests clearance for the Indian Education Formula Grant Application authorized under Title VII, Part A, Subpart 1 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended. The Indian Education Formula Grant (CFDA 84.060A), is not competitive or discretionary and requires the annual submission of the application from the local education agency and or tribe.
