The amendments
to this information collection reflect changes that SBA recently
made to its Standard Operating Procedures governing the 7(a) and
504 loan programs and which became effective January 1, 2014.
Potentially, additional changes to these same forms will be
necessary when the Agency issues its final rule also governing the
7(a) and 504 loan programs (RIN 3245-0348).

SBA regulations at 13 CFR, Section
120.830 requires CDCs to submit an annual report which contains
financial statements, operational and management information. This
information is used by SBA's district offices, Office of Financial
Assistance, and Office of Lender Oversight to obtain information
from the CDCs that used to evaluate whether CDC's are operating
according to the status, regulations and policies governing the CDC
loan program (504 program)
There have been some CDC's who
have withdrawn from the program voluntarily and there have also
been a few CDC's that have merged with other CDC's thereby
decreasing the number of CDC's in the program.
