Abstract: FTA grantees and vendors use the Pre-Award and Post-Delivery certification processes to ensure that the products purchased with FTA funds comply with the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The law provides, with exceptions, that all steel, iron and manufactured products used in FTA-funded contracts must be of U.S. origin.
