We are inviting you to complete an on-line survey related to your recent NSF grant application or service as a peer reviewer. The survey asks questions about the time it took you to complete the application or review, and about your satisfaction with the experience. The goal of the study is to evaluate the 2-stage proposal submission process being implemented by the Divisions of Environmental Biology and of Integrative Organismal Systems and to compare it to the non-participating programs in biological sciences. The survey data are being collected by Abt Associates, an independent research and evaluation firm under the contract with NSF.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. Choosing to participate or not will have no effect on your current or future receipt of NSF funding. We will protect your privacy to the extent permissible by law by separating the responses you provide from your name, contact information and other identifiers. Your answers will be aggregated with the responses of other participants before being reported to NSF.
It should take you approximately 10 minutes to complete the survey. The information that you provide is very important to NSF and we hope that you will find the time to participate. We request that you complete the survey by DATE.
