The Foreign Trade Zone Operator is responsible for maintaining its inventory control in compliance with statute and regulations. The operator will make prepare a reconciliation report which is spot checked by CBP auditors. FTZ operators must also send a letter to their local port certifying that the reconciliation is completed.
