The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), an independent federal agency, is working
to improve the future financial well-being of adults and young people in America. The Bureau is
creating resources for parents, and as a part of its effort, CFPB would like to talk to a
representative from your organization about the financial wellness programs (both formal and
informal) that you offer employees or may have considered offering them. With this information,
CFPB hopes to create tools and resources that support organizations and help working parents
create a better financial future for their families. Your organization’s participation is completely
voluntary.
CFPB has retained Information Experts to conduct the research and interviews. Information
Experts is headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metro area and provides market research
services in addition to a number of other services to federal agencies.
I am contacting you to ask your help identifying the person at (COMPANY) who can discuss
your organization’s financial wellness efforts during a 60- to 90-minute telephone interview. His
or her participation will help us understand the supporting role CFPB can play to help employers
and employees alike. The name and affiliation of the person participating in the interview will
not be disclosed to CFPB by Information Experts.
