0920-0222, for each individual collection, CDC will submit to OMB a
mini-supporting statement that includes the elements of Parts A and
B that are specific to the GenIC. OMB will strive to provide
feedback on the individual collections within ten working days,
whenever possible. Standard remuneration of respondents for
congantive testing is $40.00.. Higher remunerations may be
requested with justification for difficult recruitments, focus
groups, etc.

This request is for a new, generic
clearance to conduct developmental studies on survey design and
data collection activities that are part of the National Health
Care Surveys. The surveys are conducted by the Division of Health
Care Statistics within NCHS. This clearance covers new survey
research to evaluate and improve upon survey design and operations,
and examine the feasibility and address challenges that may arise
with future expansions of the National Health Care
Surveys.
