Report of Infants and Toddlers Receiving Early Intervention Services and of Program Settings Where Services are Provided in Accordance with Part C, and Report on Infants and Toddlers...
This data collection provides instructions and forms necessary for States to report the number of children receiving early intervention services under Part C of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the settings in which these children are provided services, and the reasons by which these children exit Part C of IDEA. The form satisfies reporting requirements and is used by OSEP to monitor State agencies and for Congressional reporting.
There is a program change increase of 710 hours. This increase is due to the submission of new data elements related to the cumulative count of infants and toddlers receiving services under Part C of IDEA in Table 1. This cumulative count will provide OSEP with a more accurate count of how many infants and toddlers are receiving early intervention services under Part C of IDEA during a 12-month reporting period. These data will be used to better understand the number and characteristics of infants and toddlers receiving services under Part C of IDEA at anytime during a 12-month reporting period for monitoring purposes and to better evaluate the impact of the Part C program.
