The Transportation Security
Administration (TSA) is seeking renewal of the TSA Customer Comment
Card information collection. The card is being used at airports for
customer complaints, compliments, and suggestions.
Several new response elements
were added to the ICR, resulting in a change in the both the number
of responses and burden hours associated with this information
collection. TSA developed TTT, a central web portal for customer
contact in response to GAO audit recommendations, OMB terms of
clearance, and initiatives of the Deputy Secretary of Homeland
Security. This tool will permit customer feedback through an
automated web tool, as well as an electronic means for passengers
to submit comments and complaints to the Office of Civil Rights and
Liberties.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
If you are unable to certify compliance with any of
