The information collected by this information collection request (ICR) will be used to analyze the possible unintended consequences of the various methods by which Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers in the sample are compensated. Should the study show that there is a relationship between the methods drivers are paid and the methods' effect on safe driving performance, a potential benefit of the study will be to provide CMV carrier companies with information that will help them make more informed decisions about safe operations.
