Abstract: This is a request for a non-substantive change. NASS would like to change the questions contained in the Quality Control questionnaire to accommodate a request by APHIS concerning a possible misinterpretation of a question concerning Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and/or Genetically Engineered (GE) crops. We will re-contact approximately 80 respondents to ask a few follow-up questions to help insure the quality of the data.

Short Statement: Two major program changes account for the increase in respondent burden and number of contacts. The survey has been changed from voluntary to mandatory and the inclusion of transitional and exempt organic producers to the existing sample of certified producers.
