Abstract: USCIS proposes to permit a refugee applicant whose application for refugee status was denied on the basis of lack of credibility to establish a claimed biological relationship to a derivative child to submit DNA evidence with the RFR. This will allow individuals who are otherwise unable to prove the claimed relationship to provide potentially credible evidence of the biological relationship.
