Information collections related to
customer satisfaction, conference, and outreach activities provide
important information on customer attitudes about the delivery and
quality of agency products/services and will be used as part of an
ongoing process to improve DOL programs and products.
Burden changes result from
agency experience with the overall information collection in the
past three years. This experience showed that the DOL should adjust
the ceilings by decreasing responses by 11,700,000 (from 12500000
to 80,000) and increasing time by 10,000 hours (from 70,000 to
80,000).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
