Abstract: The information will be used by the Maritime Administration (MarAd) to fulfill its statutory obligation in determining U.S. flag availability. The information collected ensures that the Maritime Administrator has sufficient information on the capacity and schedule of U.S.-flag vessels in order to make determinations required by 46 U.S.C. § 501(b).
