Institution Contact Administrative Tool (ICAT)
The Survey of Earned Doctorates (SED) ICAT is a secure, easy-to-use website designed for Institution
Contacts and Deans involved with the SED. The ICAT will help you to more easily implement the SED at
your institution and track your institution's progress!
The ICAT allows you to:
• Review your institution's current list of doctorate recipients
• Upload and send files to the SED using a secure transfer process
• Download useful study materials, including the SED questionnaire

To access the SED ICAT, open the following link in your web browser:

You will be prompted for a UserID and Password to access any institution-specific information. Your
unique User ID and Password are:

To access detailed data about your institution's doctorate recipients simple click on the "Data Collection
Forms" box in the navigation bar at the top of the screen, then the Individual Institution Roster box.
