Abstract: The accreditation of commercial testing laboratories; approval of commercial gaugers are used by individuals or businesses desiring CBP approval to measure bulk products or analyze importations may apply to CBP by letter. This approval is required of businesses wishing to perform such work on imported merchandise.

Short Statement: CBP lowered the number of responses to from 100 annually to 8 because it was determined that this is a more realistic estimate. CBP also raised the number of record keepers from 100 to 180 As a result, the burden hours associated with this collection were reduced from 225 to 190. There are no changes to the information collected.
