Abstract: The purpose of this standard and its information collection requirements is to provide protection for workers from the adverse health effects associated with occupational exposure to 1,3-Butadiene. OSHA is proposing to remove the requirements for employers to collect and record an employee’s social security number (SSN) on exposure monitoring and medical surveillance records. Time to document SSN in records is negligible and therefore, the Agency is not requesting changes to the burden hour or cost estimates in this ICR.
