As discussed with the Program, given the iterative nature of efforts related to claims measurement, if there are plans for similar collections in the future to test alternative collection methods we would like to have a conversation early in the process (i.e., before a statement of work is issued) to understand how any new efforts fit into the work already completed.

The objective of this feasibility study is to design and test a data collection method that enables USDA/FNS to estimate erroneous payments due to meals claimed improperly by family day care home providers participating in the CACFP. Specifically, the study focuses on accurately estimating meals that are claimed but not served.
